How to Use Solmint Calculators

Solmint calculators share a consistent set of controls so you can move between tools without relearning the interface. Here is what each control does and how to get the most out of it.

All Tools

Browse every calculator by category. Pin a preferred tool so it opens on the homepage each time you visit, and mark tools as favorites for quick access from the favorites list. Your pins and favorites are saved on your device.

Settings

Change site-wide preferences: light or dark mode, numeral system, preferred currency, and page zoom. These apply across all calculators. The Scientific Calculator is the only exception: its two panels each keep their own numeral system so you can use different numeral systems side by side.

Help

Turn help mode on to see explanations and guidance for the calculator you are currently using. The tips are tailored to each tool, so you always get relevant information for the controls in front of you.

History

Toggle the history panel on or off to show or hide your past calculations. Click any entry to reload its values, add notes, or clear the list. History is saved on your device and is optional.

Calculator Options

These are controls specific to the calculator you have open. Depending on the tool, you may see calculation modes, angle units, function categories, display formats, or other tool-specific settings. The available options change from one calculator to another, so explore them when you switch tools.
