What does the leave calculator compute?

The calculator counts full working days. For half-day leave, enter the start and end dates of the half-day period and divide the resulting day count by two. For recurring half-day patterns (e.g., every Friday afternoon), count the number of Fridays in your date range and add them as half-days to your total. The weekly summary view shows you the breakdown of full days and half-days so you can see at a glance how much leave you have used.

How do I calculate leave balance remaining?

Enter your total annual leave entitlement and the calculator tracks how many days you have used versus how many remain. Yes. The calculator shows public holidays within your selected date range, so you can see which holidays fall near your requested leave. By strategically booking leave adjacent to public holidays or weekends, you can extend your time off while using fewer leave days. For example, if a public holiday falls on a Tuesday, booking Monday as leave gives you 4 consecutive days off (Saturday through Tuesday) while using only 1 leave day.

Does this calculator support Nepali and Marathi numerals?

Yes. Nepali and Marathi use the same Devanagari numeral glyphs (०–९) as Hindi. If you read or write in those languages, the Hindi numeral mode will display numbers correctly.
